Zimbabwe Digital Investment & Economic Intelligence Platform

A national investment catalogue, turned into a governed, investor-facing registry.

A governed national project registry with role-based investor access, ministry workspaces and deal execution, running end to end as an operational pilot for Zimbabwe, in English and French.

Project content on the platform is drawn from the ZIDA 2025 catalogue and is subject to official validation by the Government of Zimbabwe and ZIDA.

The challenge

Zimbabwe's investment opportunities lived in a static catalogue, the ZIDA 2025 catalogue. Investors could read it, but they could not search, filter or engage with it, and government had no governed way to keep it current or to control who saw the financial detail.

The opportunity

Concept Note v0.3 proposed turning that catalogue into a governed, investor-facing registry as the first visible layer of the National Digital Acceleration Program: a service that leaders and investors could see working early.

Our approach and solution

The platform is Afronovation's registry, governance and entitlements software, configured for Zimbabwe. Every project follows a draft, review and publication flow. Access grows with trust: public visitors browse titles, sectors, locations and summaries; registered investors add financing-type filters and a profile for credential review; qualified investors see capital estimates and return indicators, restricted documents and can request meetings and direct engagement with ZIDA. Ministries submit projects, national review and agency approval follow, and approved projects reach the public registry.

Platform highlights

  • Searchable, filterable registry of investment projects across eight priority sectors
  • Draft, review and publish workflow with seven control gates
  • Three investor access levels: public visitor, registered investor and qualified investor
  • Eleven strategic pillars aligned to ZIDA investment themes
  • Ministry workspaces for submitting and managing projects
  • Engagements carried through to executed memoranda of understanding
  • Full English and French versions
